This Saturday, October 21, we will celebrate our patron, St. John Paul II. After the 4:30 Mass we will have a candlelight procession. We will assemble in front of St. Cecilia Church and process to Grand Ave., Norfolk Ave., Perrin Ave.,Central Ave., ending at St. Leo the Great Church where Fr. Sisco will bless everyone with a relic of St. John Paul II, followed by Benediction. The evening will end with chowder & clam cakes, pastries and coffee in St. Cecilia. Church Hall.

St. John Paul II Parish Knights of Columbus Council 12613 asks that you join them in congratulating Fr. Michael Sisco on being named the Chaplain of the Year at the 2017 Clergy Night held on Monday, October 9th. Fr. Sisco was chosen from a pool of seven nominated Knights of Columbus Chaplains. As part of this honor he will also be attending the 2018 Knights of Columbus Supreme Convention being held in Baltimore, Maryland this summer as a guest of the State Chaplain Fr. Joe Paquette.

The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults is a program designed for people over the age of 18 who wish to become full, active, participating members of the Catholic Church. St. John Paul II parish program will begin on October 11, 2017 and will meet every Wednesday evening from 7:00 - 8:30p.m. in the Sanctuary of St. Cecilia’s Church and will continue to meet until Wednesday, April 4, 2018 excluding holidays. Adults will receive the sacraments of Baptism, Holy Eucharist, and Confirmation at the Easter Vigil Mass on Saturday, March 31, 2018. If you are interested in receiving any or all of these sacraments please call the rectory during office hours.
