Is your child baptized in the Catholic Church? Have they made their First Communion? Do you regularly attend mass? If you have answered yes to these questions, then I invite your child to become an altar server at St. John Paul II Parish. The time commitment is dependent on your schedule and is dependent on your schedule. Interested students and current altar servers are asked to attend one of two training sessions. The first session is tomorrow, Wednesday, November 29th from 6 to 7 PM in St. Cecilia's Church. The second training session is Sunday, December 3 from 5 to 6 pm, also in St. Cecilia's Church. After the training the trainees will vest and shadow current altar servers for several weeks before being put on the schedule. Altar serving provides your child with a deeper understanding of the mass and is a wonderful way for them to serve their parish community. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. Can you believe that it is that time of year again?!?! The Christmas Bazaar is Friday, November 17th from 9 AM to 8 PM and Saturday, November 18th from 9 AM to 3 PM. Get your Christmas shopping list ready, plan on coming by for breakfast, lunch and dinner, take a chance at the games and raffles, pick up a baked treat or just stop by for some fellowship. Due to construction on the front walkway of St. Leo's Church, all masses, the 4:30 pm Vigil Mass, the 8:00 AM, the 10:00 AM and the noon SUNDAY masses will be held in St. Cecilia Church. The 8:00 AM SATURDAY mass will be held at St. Leo Church.
